Growing in our relationship with God is not automatic. OSL gives you a clear path to see radical growth and change happen in your life, but only if it is mixed with some essential ingredients.
So, what does it take to experience supernatural change?
Mark 8:34 "...Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." To follow Jesus and be transformed into His likeness, requires making significant changes in our life. The disciplines of OSL will help you to make these adjustments when accompanied by a willing heart and good attitude.
Hebrews 4:12 says, "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." The power of God’s word to transform a life from the inside out is foundational to OSL. If you will open your heart and allow His word in, it will change the way you think, the way you feel, and even how you act.
Galatians 6:9 "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." Discipleship requires our time, effort and diligence. Make a commitment from the beginning and see it through to the end. A wise person will excitedly embrace the OSL disciplines as part of a necessary process for change and growth.
